- Stage A: 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
- Review 10 charts to gather a "snapshot" of your current practice with regard to diagnosing and treating patients with insomnia
- Utilize the TRIAD website to complete and/or download patient report forms and instructions necessary for submission of your data
- After submission, you will be able to compare your data to that of your peers
- Stage B: 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
- Participate in a "lunch hour" webcast led by our faculty facilitators, during which you will consider diagnosis and treatment of insomnia in the busy primary care practice
- Develop an Action Plan, based on the results of your chart audit, to guide your changes in practice. You will receive feedback from the faculty on an appropriate action plan.
- Stage C: 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
- Review 10 additional charts to gather a second "snapshot" of your practice 60 days after your have implemented your Action Plan.
- Participate in another "lunch hour" webcast which addresses Action Plans and integration into the practice
- Reflect on the learning that has occurred as a result of this activity and relate it to patient outcomes if possible. You will be asked to report this to Postgraduate Institute for Medicine as confirmation of your participation in this activity, as a component of the final evaluation process.
